Musicians Sought For Mill Valley Concert Series

MILL VALLEY, CA — If you're a Bay Area musician, the city of Mill Valley wants to hear from you.

The North Bay city is seeking musical artists to perform at a late-summer concert series.

Performers will be expected to play a 90-minute set.

The concerts will include performances from at least four musical artists or groups per date.

The Downtown Plaza a public open-air area surrounded by local retail shops and restaurants.

Each selected artist or group will receive a $500 payment on the day of the concert.

Sound system, audio technician and event publicity will be provided by the Arts Commission.

“All interested musical artists are encouraged to apply,” city officials wrote on the Mill Valley Recreation Facebook page.

The deadline to apply to perform at this event is March 15 at noon.

Musicians who performed in the 2021 Concerts on the Plaza will not be eligible for the 2022 series.
