Stethoscope and Comb Stolen from Car Outside Starbucks in Strawberry

In one of the more unique car burglaries in the 94941 in recent years, a doctor who parked his car outside of the Starbucks in the Strawberry Village shopping center Wednesday afternoon reported that a woman stole a stethoscope, sport coat, radar detector, some change and a comb from the car, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred at around 8 a.m. Wednesday as the unidentified doctor left the Starbucks and saw the suspect, described as a white woman in her late 40s with short brown hair and wearing a camouflage shirt and Capri pants, fleeing the scene.

The doctor provided information on the incident at around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday and was not immediately available to provide further details as he had to go back to work at the hospital, according to the report.
