Storybook Ball Takes Attendees to Oz, Raises $50K for Library Programs

The 2nd annual Storybook Ball transported more than 300 attendees to the Land of Oz at the earlier this month. The event, a fundraiser for children's and teen programs at the Mill Valley Library, was hosted by Storybooks, a committee of the .

The event raised more than $50,000, a huge uptick from last's year tally of $28,000 and a big boost to youth programming at the library, particularly the popular “Wednesdays On Stage” summer events in the amphitheater and weekly teen programming at the library, including the Creative Writing Workshop.
