Traffic Alert: Car Goes Airborne, Lands In Embankment

MARIN COUNTY, CA -- A car reportedly went airborne Tuesday before landing in an embankment in Marin County. The incident was reported around 12:16 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near Robin Williams Tunnel, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Initial reports on the CHP incident log said the car hit the center divider, went airborne then crashed down into an embankment.

Drivers may experience delays in the area as officers work the scene.
