Enjoy Eggs, Pirates, Dancing and Wine This Weekend

Spring is in the air, and here's a look at just some the fun activities happening in Mill Valley this weekend.

Spring is in the air, so get out and celebrate this weekend. Here's just a few things happening around town.

1. Spring Eggstravaganza - Hundreds are set to gather with Mr. E. Bunny for the annual Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt at the Mill Valley Community Center on Saturday. Enjoy breakfast from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. - tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children, then hop on over to the egg hunt, which is free this year. Also plan on a bouncy-bounce, train rides, music and more.

2. 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Whole Foods Mill Valley - in case you can't get your fill, there's also an egg hunt at 12:30 p.m. at Whole Foods, featuring, of course, a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny. Bring your own basket, and lunch will be sold for a donation to the Whole Planet Foundation.

3. Mill Valley Middle School Spring Cabaret to Perform Pirates of Penzance - The kids have working hard on this amazing original show. Woven between scenes will be talent, music, circus and dance acts. Performances are in the MVMS gymnasium Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets available at the door. Baked goods and flowers will be for sale at the show

4. Liss Fain Dance to Transform Library into Surreal Forest - The performing arts often showcase the ability to “bring books to life”, but how far will performers go to give life, motion, and sound to a work of literature?  Liss Fain Dance will test the waters at the Mill Valley Public Library on Sunday, March 24, as the dynamic modern/contemporary dance company transforms the library’s main reading room into the multidimensional set of The Water is Clear and Still, a performance installation based on short fiction by novelist Jamaica Kincaid.
