1 Treated For Smoke Inhalation After Fremont Fire

The Fremont blaze was reported Tuesday at 6:09 a.m. in the 5500 block of Hughes Place, just off the Nimitz Freeway.

FREMONT - One person is being treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a home in Fremont Tuesday morning, officials said.

The blaze was reported at 6:09 a.m. in the 5500 block of Hughes Place, near the Nimitz Freeway.

Crews rescued the person from the home and extinguished the fire as of shortly before 6:55 a.m., fire officials said on Twitter.
