Accused Takeout Bandit Nabbed While Working Out In Milpitas: Police
Police said a man who stole a takeout order from a Milpitas restaurant was driving a stolen vehicle and was later arrested inside a gym.

MILPITAS, CA — A San Jose man accused of stealing takeout food from a Milpitas restaurant was tracked to a local gym and arrested while working out, according to police.
Officials said a swing-shift officer fielded a theft report at the restaurant on Saturday afternoon and learned the man had left in a Toyota Prius that was reported stolen from San Jose. According to investigators, the officer soon found the vehicle parked at a gym on East Calaveras Boulevard and spotted the meal in question sitting on the passenger seat.
Inside the gym, police said the officer located a 53-year-old San Jose man and placed him under arrest. The man was booked into jail on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle and theft.
