Mipitas Police Department this week began publishing their crime data online. Residents can check crimereports.com to see what calls police have responded to in different parts of town.
An iPhone app is available as well.

San Jose and Fremont also use crimereports.com, said Lt. Steven Petrakovitz, and adding Milpitas will make the crime map between the three cities "seamless."
