Deadly Fire Kills One, Displaces 10 At San Jose Complex

The fire that started Monday morning damaged four units in the apartment building located on Foxdale Loop.

SAN JOSE, CA -- A deadly fire that broke out in an apartment complex Monday morning killed one person and damaged four units, Capt. Mitch Matlow reported.

The fire called in shortly before 7 .m. on the 1300 block of Foxdale Loop prompted San Jose fire officials to call in two alarms with a report of someone trapped inside and for the mere size of the building.

The identification of the person has not been disclosed.

No one else was hurt, but 10 people were displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
