Merryhill Elementary School Students Hold Food Drive for Charity

Students at Merryhill Elementary School in San Jose recently donated more than 100 snack bags during a food drive for Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence. Students organized snack donations they collected and packed them into decorated lunch bags to provide support to survivors of domestic violence. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others.

Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence is a San Jose-based nonprofit that seeks to reduce domestic violence through comprehensive services including crisis counseling, legal support, housing solutions, support groups and more.
