Merryhill Elementary School Students Raise Funds for Make-A-Wish

Students wrote letters to Santa to raise $745 to make children's dreams come true

Students at Merryhill Elementary School in San Jose recently participated in a letter-writing event to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. During the month of December, students wrote letters to Santa and sent them to Macy’s, which donates $2 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for every letter it receives. Through the letters and additional donations, students and their families raised a total of $745 to help the foundation make dreams come true for more children battling severe illnesses. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness to others.
