Milipitas Family Of 4 Died By Murder-Suicide, Police Say
Police believe a man shot and killed his wife and the couple's two children before turning the gun on himself.
MILPITAS, CA — Police in Milpitas believe the deaths of two adults and two children found dead this week were the result of a murder-suicide, the department said Thursday.
Lt. Tyler Jamison held a press conference Thursday afternoon and identified the dead adults as Vinh Nguyen, 36, and Betty Pham, also 36. The couple's two children, a boy aged 9 and a girl aged 4, were also killed. Out of respect for the family, their names are not being released.
Jamison said each person appears to have died by a single gunshot wound. Police believe Nguyen is the suspect. A handgun, which was legally registered to him, was found at the scene.
