Milpitas Residents Can Dispose of Unwanted, Unused, Expired Drugs

MILPITAS, CA — City officials in Milpitas are offering an opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted prescription drugs for free, anonymously and without any questions asked. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sat., Oct. 22, at the Milpitas Police Department at 1275 N. Milpitas Blvd., residents can bring pills and patches for disposal.

The effort is aimed at preventing pill abuse and theft by getting rid of unwanted, expired and unused drugs. The Police Department cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps.
