Power Outage Planned Friday for S. Main Street
About 70 customers likely will be without electricity from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
PG&E is planning a power outage for residents near the 1100 block of S. Main Street from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday.
The outage is necessary for developers at a nearby condominium building to install temporary power as they build, said Monica Tell, spokeswoman for PG&E in San Francisco. The outage should affect about than 70 customers, all residential.
"Unless there’s unsafe weather condition or an unforeseen emergency in the area, it’s scheduled to go on," Tell said.
