Suspicious Person Call Nets Arrest, Stolen Firearm In Milpitas
Milpitas police officers responded to a call from a concerned neighbor, leading to an arrest of a man accused of having a stolen gun.

MILPITAS, CA -- Following up on a suspicious activity call, police arrested a Sacramento man for possession of stolen property, a firearm and a controlled substance as well as a probation violation.
Officers responded to a call on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Corinthia Drive in which a resident saw Gerald Green, 30, knocking on the front door of a home. When they arrived, a 2004 green Honda Accord driven by a person who matched the caller's description leaving the area.
The officers stopped the vehicle and discovered Green is on probation in Sacramento County for drug related charges, and his driver’s license is suspended. A Ruger .380 handgun found in the car was reported stolen in Texas in 2015. Officers also discovered what they believed was cocaine in Green’s pocket.

He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
