'Year Of The Pig' Lunar Milpitas Celebration Set This Weekend
Milpitas has scheduled a huge lineup of acts at the Community Center for the annual tradition that marks the lunar year.
MILPITAS, CA -- The city is hosting a party to celebrate the "Year of the Pig" Saturday at 6 p.m. for a night of music and entertainment.
The celebration is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Milpitas Community Center located at 457 E. Calaveras Blvd.
A slew of activities for young and old will be on tap, including firecrackers, an America's Got Talent 2012 Quarter Finalist show, Chinese folk dancing, traditional lion and dragon performances and a performance by the Firebird Youth Chinese Orchestra, among others.
