MISSION VIEJO, CA —Another sweltering heat wave is headed to Orange County, and residents can expect scorching temperatures in Mission Viejo.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Watch from Wednesday through Friday for all inland Orange County cities, including Mission Viejo.

In Mission Viejo, residents can expect temperatures to climb up to 104 by Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

On the coast, temperatures are expected to increase. Coastal residents can expect temperatures ranging from the high 80s to the high 90s, the NWS reported.
