12 Million-Dollar Homes in Foreclosure in Mission Viejo

According to AOL Real Estate, there were 490 foreclosed properties in Mission Viejo as of Wednesday.

As the housing economy continues to struggle, 490 properties sit in foreclosure this week in Mission Viejo, according to AOL Real Estate. And 12 of those are valued at over $1 million.

The most valuable home in foreclosure is a four-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot home on Pacific Terrace Drive. That house has an estimated bid amount of $1.2 million.

Oddly, the house with the highest estimated bid amount is on the same street as the house with the lowest bid amount. Another foreclosed home on Pacific Terrace is three bedrooms, three baths and 2,600 square feet and has an estimated opening bid amount of $6,032.

But the largest and most valuable property in foreclosure in Mission Viejo isn't a home, but rather a commercial property.

The property that Storage West Self Storage on El Toro Road sits on is up for foreclosure to the tune of $6.5 million. That's a 52,000-square-foot property.
