3 Mission Viejo Teams Win Division at Surf Cup

Three Mission Viejo teams take first place in one of the world's biggest youth soccer tournaments.

Three Mission Viejo youth soccer teams took first place in their division in the 2013 the San Diego soccerloco Surf Cup.

The winners:

  • Pateadores USSDA Academy (Boys U-14 Pre Academy)
  • Pateadores (Boys U-11) 
  • West Coast FC ECNL (Girls U-15)

The tournament that took place between July 27 and Aug. 5 is one of the world's largest youth soccer competitions. This year it brought together 378 teams from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Germany.
