'Captain' The Husky Is Up For Adoption In Mission Viejo
The 3-year-old Siberian husky has been looking for a new family since April.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A 3-year-old Siberian husky named Captain is looking for a new family and waiting to meet his match at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.
"Handsome, confident and free-thinking, Captain is the perfect partner for a husky-lover seeking to add to the pack," Animal Services wrote Wednesday. "Huskies can be jokester, explorers and always a best friend. They enjoy chasing toys in the yard and being curled up by their people. They have a taste for mischief and mayhem and are not always easy to train but still amazing dogs. Captain is all of these things and more."
According to the shelter, Captain has been looking for his forever home since April. Approved applicants can adopt him for just $20, thanks to DAWG, and pick up a free training package. Prospective families can set up a meet and learn more by calling 949-470-3045.
