The Cardboard Boat Derby is a fun team-based activity where teams of four design and build a boat out of limited supplies.
Teams are provided with two pieces of cardboard, a roll of duct tape, and utility knife and have an hour to build their boat before lining up for the derby to see whose design can stay afloat the longest. A single rider races the finished boat across the pool. Before the big race, community members will enjoy family recreational swimming, games, and activities.
