City Of Mission Viejo: Council Will Recognize Outstanding Employees, Consider Mid-Year Budget And Ordinance Amending The Municipal Code

The City Council on Tuesday, March 8 will recognize the 2021 Employees of the Year from the City, Mission Viejo Police Services and Orange County Fire Authority.

The Council will also recognize the “Marines of the Quarter” from the City’s Adopted Headquarters Battalion of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton.

During Tuesday’s meeting, the Council will consider the Mid-Year Budget Review for FY 2021-22 and is expected to proclaim March as “Red Cross Month.”

In other Council news, an ordinance will be introduced to amend the City’s Municipal Code regarding the transition to district-based voting. This follows the February 22 meeting where Council Members voted unanimously to select Map A.

The meeting starts at 6 pm in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.
