City Of Mission Viejo: Learn About NASA's Artemis I Mission At The Mission Viejo Library March 19

Join the library staff, NASA Solar System Ambassadors and the local non-profit Science Heads for a free STEAM event on Saturday, March 19 at the Mission Viejo Library from 2 to 7 pm.

NASA Solar System Ambassadors will provide information on a variety of topics about the upcoming Artemis I mission. The presentations are geared for kids ages 12 and older. There will also be space-themed storytimes for children ages 2 to 6.

People of all ages can participate in hands-on STEAM activities and solar viewing in the Science Heads’ mobile observatory.

Presentations will be held in the City Hall Council Chamber:

  • NASA’s Artemis I Mission – 3 and 6 pm
  • Why the Moon? – 3:45 and 6:45 pm

An ASL interpreter will be available for the 3 and 3:45 pm presentations.

Storytimes will be held in the Friends Storytime Room at the library at 2:30 and 4 pm.

Hands-on STEAM activities and the mobile observatory will be available in the Kershaw Garden in the Civic Center from 2 to 6:30 pm.
