City Moves Forward With Crucero Play Park Renovation Project

Mission Viejo City Council members unanimously awarded a contract for a Crucero Park Play Rehabilitation project on Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A local park is going to get some extra love, after Mission Viejo City Council members unanimously voted to award a contract for the Crucero Park Play Area Rehabilitation project.

The $916,113-contract was awarded to Micon Construction, Inc., the same contractor the city previously hired to work on a successful park play area renovation project at Madrid Fore Park, during the council's regular Tuesday meeting.

More details regarding the rehabilitation project are to come, officials said.

Council members also received a report regarding the La Paz Bridge and Roadway Widening project and approved final construction costs.
