Classical Music Concert In Mission Viejo Announces Western Theme, Date: What To Know
Mission Viejo residents can save the date for the annual Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park on Saturday, Aug. 9.

Save the date for the annual Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park on Saturday, August 9 on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way.

With a wild west theme - “Dust off your boots” - Symphony in the Cities includes the Children’s Musical Playground and Prelude in the Park from 4 to 7 pm followed by the concert at 7 pm.
During the Prelude, patrons can enjoy lots of western-themed activities including a petting zoo, panning for gold, live entertainment, games for the whole family, photo opportunities with props, an array of delectable food trucks and much more.

Volunteers can earn community service hours, have fun and feel good while savoring music by Pacific Symphony led by Maestro Jacob Sustaita and enjoy a host of fun activities during the City’s Prelude in the Park. Register online at this link, and for more information, email symphonyvolunteer@cityofmissionviejo.org. Volunteers must be 15 or older.
Local organizations and non-profits can also get involved by registering for a community booth. Booths must fit the "Dust off your boots" theme and include an activity. To apply, fill out an application and email it to symphonybooth@cityofmissionviejo.org.
A limited number of VIP tables for up to 10 people are available for $150. Reserve a table online.
