Community Mourns Loss Of City Attorney Bill Curley
The City of Mission Viejo is mourning the loss of longtime City Attorney William "Bill" Curley.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A fixture in Mission Viejo's local government passed away, after longtime City Attorney William "Bill" Curley died this past weekend.
"I’ve had the opportunity to work with Bill for 21 years, and I will cherish those years — he was a great person, great sense of humor and he will definitely be missed among all of us," City Clerk Kimberly Schmitt told Patch.
City officials lowered the city flag to half-staff in honor of Bill, a man who spent more than two decades serving the City of Mission Viejo as an "essential" contract employee.
