MISSION VIEJO, CA — The Mission Viejo City Council will consider a project for infrastructure to enhance pedestrian safety and a design to improve a park play area, among other business Tuesday.
Here's a run down on what you can expect during the Mission Viejo City Council meeting Tuesday.
- Council members will consider a design contract to prepare construction drawings for a Crucero Park Play Area Rehabilitation project at 27672 Crucero.
- As part of a Highway Safety Improvement Program grant — and to assist pedestrians at crosswalks — the council will review plans to authorize staff to advertise for construction bids for the citywide installation of audible pedestrian push buttons on existing traffic signals.
- The council will also hold a public hearing on the Housing Element, part of the City's General Plan that includes programs and objectives to further the development, improvement and preservation of housing.
During the meeting, there will also be a presentation by the Moulton Niguel Water about its proposed OASIS Water Recycling and South County Emergency Water Interconnection projects.
