Country Star, American Idol Singing at Lake Saturday Night

A country star who proved she could ballroom with the best of 'em by winning Dancing with the Stars two months ago will perform at Lake Mission Viejo Saturday night. The concert starts at 7 p.m.

Kellie Pickler came in sixth on American Idol in 2006, losing to Taylor Hicks (who played the lake in 2011). Pickler answered back with a debut album that sold over 800,000 copies.

Every two weeks through August, the lake will feature another concert. The season finale features Michael Bolton on Aug. 17.
