ANAHEIM, CA —Police are asking for help finding a man suspected of punching another man after being called out for attempting to cut in line at a popular Disneyland attraction.

According to a Disneyland Resort spokesperson, the physical altercation occurred Dec. 30 in the Indiana Jones Adventure queue. It involved two male guests, one of whom was treated by our Guest Health Services team.

"A group of people were waiting in line at the Indian Jones ride when another group cut through the line to catch up with other family members," Sutter told reporters. The altercation occurred when a man in the line-cutting family began striking a man who objected, according to numerous sources.

The bloodied objector had been waiting in line with his own Seattle-based family when the incident occurred, Anaheim Police Sgt. Matt Sutter confirmed.

The suspect fled, and as of this report, no arrests or additional information have been released. Anaheim Police said they have "strong leads" and that the man is likely a Southern California resident.

The victim was treated by Disneyland Resort's on-site first-aid team and cleared to remain in the park for the rest of that day, according to Anaheim police.

He did require stitches for a large gash on his forehead, his wife told Patch, and shared on Reddit. "(He) is healing up slowly, and he's going to the doctors in Seattle to check up on his stitches and lasting injuries," she said.

Many Reddit comments have shared that witnesses attempted to intervene before the suspect fled.

"My husband did not fight back, and my teen got videos of the guy hitting my hubby," the victim's wife said. "He didn’t want to risk false assault accusations, risk us being blacklisted, and family getting removed and ending our Disney vacation early."

The victim ended up getting four stitches and what his wife called "a wicked shiner."

Disneyland Resort also supplied a new pair of clothes, she said, and they did get to spend the rest of the day at the park with Lightning Lane passes for the whole family. "He’s okay, but honestly, it’s added more 'dad lore' to our family gatherings."

The family told Patch and authorities that they will press charges if a suspect is identified.
