Fire Damages Mission Viejo Auto Shop
An early morning fire engulfed and auto shop in Mission Viejo Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A second-alarm fire damaged an automotive repair shop Tuesday morning in Mission Viejo, but no one was injured.
The fire broke out around 4 a.m. at the shop in the 25700 block of Obrero Drive, said Capt. Larry Kurtz of the Orange County Fire Authority.
One person was inside the building when the fire broke out but was able to get out safely, Kurtz said.

It took 45 firefighters about 45 minutes to knock down the blaze, he said, adding that firefighters remained at the scene Tuesday morning, cleaning up hot spots.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
