Firefighters quickly extinguished a small brush fire Monday morning on southbound Interstate 5 just before Oso Parkway in Mission Viejo, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
Some 20 firefighters worked for 30 minutes to put out the 8:30 a.m. vegetation fire, according to a report on the OCFA's Facebook page.
