Residents are invited to make a splash at the Sierra Recreation Center for a good cause on Saturday, Aug. 3.
The $4 special entry fee that day will benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life event that raises money for research and programs.
The facility at 26887 Recodo Lane is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Recreation swim begins at 10:30 a.m. with the water slide opening at 1 p.m.
Folks can also support the cause by taking part in the opportunity drawing for a chance to win a three month membership at the city's recreation and fitness centers. Tickets will be $1.
