In less than a year, at only 32 years old, Laura Brock of Mission Viejo was diagnosed with an incurable lung disease, suffered cardiac arrest, received a heart and a lung transplant, and tragically passed away, leaving behind her husband John, Ava and Georgia. Because of his own illness and the medical debt incurred trying to save his wife’s life, friends and family have joined forces to help ensure that the girls have as bright a future as possible.

“The forecast is calling for a perfect weather day. If all our local golfers come out on Sunday, we’ll have make an incredible difference in the lives of two beautiful little girls,” said Bibi Pham, a friend of the Brock family who is coordinating the event. “You can’t say that about most days on the golf course!”
