La Paz Students Released After Bomb Threat Hoax
Students at La Paz were released at the normal time today, 3 p.m.

Students were on lockdown this afternoon to assist police in a bomb threat investigation, but it turned out to be a hoax, Sgt. Sandi Kirsch with Mission Viejo police services said.
A girl's phone was stolen, and the thief used the phone to call in a bomb threat, Kirsch said. The student who stole the phone admitted to the hoax and nobody was arrested, she said.
The lockdown has since been lifted. Students were allowed to leave school at the regularly scheduled time.
