Mandatory Whooping Cough Shots at Capo Valley Wednesday

Whooping cough vaccines are required by state law for students in grades 7 through 12. Students without proof of taking the shot cannot stay in school longer than 30 days after the first day of school, according to the law passed last month.

If you need one, there will be a clinic Wednesday inside the small gym at . Students under 18 need parent permission to receive the shot.

When: Wednesday, Aug. 24, 8 a.m. to noon

Where: CVHS, 26301 Via Escolar, inside the small gym
