Meet The Candidate: Mission Viejo Council Candidate Talks Transparency
Candidate Terri Aprati hopes to bring trust, accountability and integrity to the Mission Viejo dais.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Mission Viejo City Council candidate Terri Aprati has lived, worked and played in Mission Viejo for the last 21 years.
She is one of 13 candidates currently running in the Mission Viejo City Council election, and told Patch that she decided to throw her hat in the ring because she believes that the current dais has lost track of its moral compass.
Aprati will be running in the city's 4th District, facing off against incumbent Council Member Trish Kelley and write-in candidate Ken Golemo. Aprati's core campaign values encompass the following: trust, transparency and accountability.

If elected to the dais, she told Patch that she would tighten the city's spending to be more fiscally conservative, and encourage the city to re-think the way it is spending money. Additionally, Aprati said that the city's congested streets and bare slopes are major concerns that would need to be addressed immediately.
Aprati also said that if elected, she will diligently plan to ensure that Mission Viejo continues to thrive and grow long into the future.

"We need to gear toward the future together," Aprati told Patch. "I'm not saying anything radical — I run my campaign on trust, accountability and transparency."
