Memorial Day Fun in Mission Viejo

Have you seen banners of fallen veterans outside the library? From May 20-30, Mission Viejo is remembering its residents who have sacrificed their lives for their countries.

That's just one of the ways the city is celebrating Memorial Day this week.

is holding its annual Frontlawn BBQ Sunday at noon. All are welcome to this free event.

On Memorial Day, city leaders and military personnel will gather with the public outside for a ceremony.

The ceremony will include stirring speeches, music and a three-volley rifle salute. Refreshments will be provided by inside the Saddleback room.
