Naked Man Accused of Pestering 23-Year-Old Mission Viejo Woman

A 23-year-old Mission Viejo woman had an unwelcome surprise Sunday morning around 3:30 on the 26000 block of Avenida Domingo.

Coming home from work, the woman was approached outside her home by a man in his 40s wearing only a red silk top, according to Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Sandra Kirsch.

The victim drove to her boyfriend's home, and they returned to her home. A short search brought them to Robert K. Cook, 41, who, at that point, was completely naked, Kirsch said.

Cook made sexual gestures toward the boyfriend, Kirsch said, and the boyfriend yelled at him. At that point Cook fled into a nearby residence.

Soon after, police arrested Cook. He was charged with indecent exposure and lewd conduct, Kirsch said.

In 2005, a man with the same name pleaded not guilty to child molestation, and the charge was later dismissed according to court records.
