New Academy For Kids In Mission Viejo To Host Ribbon Cutting

Kiddie Academy Mission Viejo is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, and the public is invited to join and tour academy grounds.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A new child care provider is opening its doors in Mission Viejo, officially. Kiddie Academy of Mission Viejo plans to host its official ribbon cutting ceremony Friday as the provider celebrates the creation of 20 community jobs and care for up to 140 Mission Viejo kids.

During the ceremony, attendees can expect free refreshments and tours of the 8,285 square-foot Academy.

Kiddie Academy is an educational childcare provider servicing Orange County since its founding in 1981. This summer, they've opened their doors in Mission Viejo and are ready to educate the kids of the community.

"Our goal is to embrace every experience as a teachable moment and an invaluable opportunity for young children to learn," Owner of Mission Viejo's Kiddie Academy Jennifer Wu said in a previous interview. "My team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality educational childcare possible to positively shape the lives of the children and families of the Mission Viejo community."

The new Kiddie Academy facility features eight classrooms, a tricycle track, playground, commercial grade kitchen, a Hatch smart table and tablets for kids three years and older. The academy can accommodate up to 140 children ages six weeks to six years.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is free for the public to attend and takes place on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 25521 Muirlands Blvd.
