The new concept, dubbed Bardega by its two Orange County-based owners, will open this fall in Laguna Hills.

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — A new bar-market concept is opening up in south Orange County.

The operation, dubbed "Bardega," will be owned and operated by Orange County locals Cory Danger and Matt Sharp when its opens in fall, according to the business's Instagram.

The duo told The Orange County Register that they approached their venture with a specific vision — to blend bar, market and restaurant, while also offering an inclusive environment for those who pass on alcohol.

"The palette for drinkers is changing," Danger told the newspaper. "and we've been seeing it happening in recent years. They want to drink healthier. If that means no alcohol or lower ABV (alcohol by volume), or even less sugar, we want to fill that niche."

The bar will feature low-ABV and zero-proof drinks, as well as the offerings of a modern deli market, the report said.
