Police Calls: A Mysterious Box, Public Drunkenness and Noisy Vacuuming Neighbors

A rundown of calls to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department for Friday, Sept. 13.
Thursday
- Following reports of domestic violence on the 28000 block of Marguerite Parkway, Cira Marie Gonzalezreyes was arrested and held on $50,000 bail. The call came in around 5 p.m.
- Five kids were seen smoking cigarettes down a gully near Chrisanta and Escala around 4:30 p.m.
- A motorcycle collided with a vehicle at Estanciero Drive and Marguerite Parkway around 8 a.m.
- A 16-year-old boy ran out of his home on Feather Ridge to avoid going to school around 7:30 a.m.
- A resident called to complain about neighbors vacuuming at 10 p.m. on the 25800 block of Marguerite.
- A woman spotted a mysterious large box next to Nordstrom and the Cheesecake factory. She told a dispatcher she nudged the box, and it felt like something was inside but she was afraid to look. The call came around 7 p.m.
- A taxi collided with a pedestrian at Melinda and Santa Margarita around 6:34 p.m.
- A man and woman caused a disturbance at the post office around 12:40 p.m.
- A large tree branch blocked traffic on the westbound side of Alicia near Jeronimo Road around noon.
- A blonde woman in her 50s was believed to be drunk in public on La Paz and Mosquero around 8 a.m.
