Prison Sentence for Convicted Killer, Bridges Smashed and... Beer Day?

The Ortega bridge has been smashed to bits, and the killer of a young Mission Viejo Air Force vet has been sentenced.

  1. The man convicted of stabbing 27-year-old Robert Sickles to death on New Years Day has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison.
  2. The candidates gearing up for the 2014 primary fight to represent south Orange County in the California Assembly raised a total of more than $440,000 for their campaign war chests.
  3. The Ortega bridge closure caused some traffic headaches over the weekend. But look on the bright side. Now we get to watch as it's smashed to pieces.
