3rd Annual ‘Books are Better Shared’ Event at Mission Viejo Library
The 3rd annual "Books are Better Shared" takes place October 8 from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 24932 Veterans Way.

MISSION VIEJO, CA - Registration is available for the 3rd annual "Books are Better Shared" on Saturday, October 8 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.
For book lovers and book clubs, the event is from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 24932 Veterans Way. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The event is hosted by the Mission Viejo Library in partnership with Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore.
Books are Better Shared is a social and literary gathering of book readers and more than 12 noted authors including Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Paul Brinkley Rogers with his memoir “Please Enjoy Your Happiness”; Stephanie Danler with her instant national bestseller “Sweetbitter”; as well as acclaimed author Lisa Napoli who speaks around the world about her first book “Radio Shangri-La.” Her new book about the late philanthropist Joan Kroc entitled “Ray & Joan The Man Who Made the McDonald’s Fortune and the Woman Who Gave It All Away” will be released mid-November.

Guests spend the day with book club leaders and authors who will help them explore exciting new ways to share books and give them the tools necessary to pick the perfect books. The event also gives folks the chance to meet publisher representatives who will share books they think will generate great book group discussions.
