Retiree Leaves OC For 15-Year Cruise To Live Life At Sea: Report

LAGUNA WOODS, CA — A south Orange County retiree is carrying out her dreams of living life on the sea after making the decision to move onto a cruise ship for the next 15 years, NBC Los Angeles reported.

Sharon Lane, 77, said that when her lease expired in Laguna Woods, she decided to buy a villa onboard the Villa Vie and moved into the ship on June 16.

"Not only was it affordable to me, it would actually cost me less money to live here like this, have everyone taking care of me instead of me taking care of everybody," Lane told NBC.
