Teams Sought For BBQ Competition In Mission Viejo: What To Know
The Backyard Amateur Grillers Competition in Mission Viejo is underway, and here's what to know about joining in on the event.

Get ready for the excitement of the Backyard Amateur Grillers Competition at the Mission Viejo BBQ Music Fest July 25-27 at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way. This is your chance to showcase your barbecue skills and compete for the title of BBQ Champ!

Only 25 teams will be accepted, so make sure to pre-register by July 1 (or before spots fill up). Each team can have a maximum of five members and will need to bring all necessary equipment, including their own meat (3-4 full racks maximum), grill, utensils, and sanitary items.
The competition is on Sunday, July 27 and winning teams will earn fantastic prizes. The Grand Champion will take home a $500 prize, the Reserved Grand Champion will receive $200, and third place will receive $100.
