California Wine & Cheese to Close in November
Tom and Janet Dugan opened the shop in 2006.

California Wine & Cheese at 115 W. Foothill Boulevard in Monrovia will be closing in November.
Owners Tom and Janet Dugan, who opened the store in 2006, thanked patrons on the shop's Facebook page.
"A big thank you to all of our friends for sharing good times throughout the years at California Wine & Cheese," they wrote. "As many of you have heard by now, we will conclude tastings by November 2 and officially close our doors by the end of November."
They are having an "everything must go" sale, with all retail items in the store marked 25 percent off.
Several customers posted on Facebook about how they much they love and will miss the shop.
Even though we have known, it doesn't make it any easier," wrote Susan Boos. "Thank you so much for being here for Monrovia. It is and has been a great place for friends to gather and a wonderful place to try new wines and to appreciate everything you had to offer."
Carrie Harfman Bell wrote that she too will miss the store.
"I'm so sad to hear this," she wrote. "I loved going to Ca Wine and Cheese. It was a warm, friendly place to try wines. I will miss you!"
