The city plans to close Myrtle in Old Town today from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a Halloween event.
The Monrovia Police Department is suggesting using alternate routes on Ivy and Primrose.
The city's annual Halloween event in Old Town and Library Park, appropriate for infants to adults, is free and goes from 3 to 6 p.m.
The following activities are planned, according to the city's website:
- Costume Contest & Parade of Characters
- Dog Costume Contest
- Library Story Times
- Toddler Area
- Activity Booths
- Arts & Crafts
- Parachute Games
- Photo Booth
- PLUS Trick or Treating in Old Town from 4-6 p.m.
