Anyone spot a deer cruising Monrovia streets this morning?
Shannon Helm posted on the Monrovia Patch Facebook page at 8:20 a.m. that she did during her morning commute.
"Dear sighting," she wrote. "Just ran across Huntington at Mayflower (to corner with Living Spaces) then up Mayflower towards Monroe Elementary!"
Animal Control Officer Derek Hensel said he did get a call at 7:30 a.m. of a deer sighting at Mountain and Duarte.
"I responded to a call but I never saw a deer," he said.
