Monrovia To Host A 'Thankful And Grateful' Holiday Gathering
Monrovia officials said the community celebration is to show the city's gratitude toward its residents and workers.
MONROVIA, CA — City officials are giving thanks to Monrovia residents and workers this holiday season with a community celebration on Thursday.
The Monrovia Library Park is hosting a “Thankful and Grateful Holiday Gathering” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event will feature a petting zoo, community booths, hayrides and live entertainment.
A holiday tree lighting ceremony will also be at 7:30 p.m., according to a city statement.

“This community celebration is designed to show our gratitude to all who make Monrovia special and rejoice in our diversity,” officials said. “This event will provide us with an opportunity to show our support for the community partners who are assisting those in need during the holiday season.”
