Monrovia Runners in Boston Marathon Are Safe, Unharmed
Monrovians Irma Moyao and Harry Terrill are safe after running in the Boston Marathon where two deadly explosions went off Monday.

The two Monrovia residents who ran in the Boston Marathon are safe and unharmed, according to the Santa Anita Family YMCA and the spouse of one of the runners.
Irma Moyao, 40, completed the race and contacted the YMCA.
"We heard from Irma and she is safe and completed the marathon! So glad she is safe!," the YMCA wrote on it's Facebook page.

The wife of the other Monrovia runner, 68-year-old Harry Terrill, wrote on Patch Tuesday that her husband is safe and unhurt as well.
"I'm Harry's wife and we quickly made contact with him - he had been at mile 25 when the first bomb exploded - but our family certainly appreciates all the love and concern we have felt from friends and community members," Barbara Terrill wrote. "We won't let the bad guys win this one!"
